Electrical Design Engineer
Legaspi Village, Makati City
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the electrical engineering, electrical design and implementation/coordination of the projects including monitoring of compliance to local codes, standards and regulations in cooperation with local authorities, design offices and construction companies
- Handles completion of designs on a variety of projects including Battery Energy Storage System projects and other direct assignment projects
- Ensures adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures for all projects assigned
- Evaluates offers, cost estimation, relevant customer specifications and cost calculation
- Verifies and optimizes electrical design
- Controls and coordinates the design and construction activities related to electrical works
- Handles coordination and interface clarification with internal and external project partners
- Organizes and participates in technical meetings and negotiations
- Prepares inquiry documents (technical description, BOQs and quantity estimation)
- Acts as point of contact to local site supervision
- Supports the Project Execution Team in any electrical-related aspect of the projects
- Other duties as may be assigned
Job Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- At least 2 years of working experience as Electrical Design Engineer.
- Must have experience in substation design as well as understanding of all substation disciplines including but not limited to, Protection & Control, SCADA, Telecommunications and Teleprotection.
- Strong coordination and good oral & written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and can work on documentation of construction plans and drawings
- Willing to travel within Philippines
- Fluent in English and Filipino

Contract employment for eight (8) months
Budget
Up to Php 40K depending on qualifications and work experience of the selected candidate
